Schmetz 16×231 SUK Needles offer outstanding bending resistance (deflection resistance), fewer skipped stitches, and less thread breakage. The 16×231 features a medium ball point (SUK) suitable for medium to coarse denim, knitwear, and corsetry. This is one of the best needles for stone-washed and sand-washed denim grades (particularly in thick needle sizes). System 16×231 SUK is generally used in single-needle lockstitch industrial sewing machines but occasionally may be used in domestic machines. Schmetz 16×231 SUK Needles come in a pack of ten and are easy to store with the included hard plastic case.
